COCAL has actually been in Asia for 10 years.
Plans were made to finally leave Thailand and join the famous ARC sailing rally.
Covid-19 has so much to answer for. Lives and plans were put on hold, while COCAL was stuck on the hard stand in Phuket Thailand for two years.
Uncertainty on next steps and travel restrictions kept Andrea from going back to get her.
She finally sailed out of the marina on the 2nd July 2022.
COCAL seemed just as pleased as Andrea- a boat and her captain need to be on the water.
The adventure begins....
